AlphaMed was founded in August of 2020 as a response to help friends and
customers from previous careers in the
pharmaceutical and orthopedic surgical device industries.
During the peak of the pandemic, the supply chain was
disrupted so abruptly that hospitals were asking members of the community
to come in and donate rain ponchos because they could not get gowns.
We knew something had to be done to
help out those on the front lines.
We identified a need for realistic quantities
of nitrile gloves and decided to import
a 40-foot shipping container of gloves.
While the learning curve was steep, we
successfully imported those first gloves
into our humble little warehouse. We sold
them cases and pallets at a time about as
fast as we could land them, and we knew
we had a system that would work.
Our guiding philosophy was that as long
as we treat people with respect and sell
quality products with integrity at a fair
price, we would never give customers a
reason to leave us.

That philosophy is still going strong as
we have now expanded our catalog and
offer several consistent brands. Many
of the products we offer directly from
the manufacturer or from our trusted
authorized distributors to eliminate as
many markups as possible.

It is truly important to have proven,
reliable supply partners that are some of
the largest of their kind in the world. We
found that some many of our customers
had been burned by trusting a slick
salesperson or scammer during the peak
of the Covid-19 pandemic. We were able
to separate ourselves from the competition
simply by following through consistently
on what we promised we would do.
Most recently we decided that we wanted
to take even more control over the supply
of some of our own products. We got
feedback from many of our customers
and industry experts, and we designed
our gloves to specifically address their
concerns. If we were going to put our
AlphaMed name on the boxes, we wanted
to make sure we could be extremely proud
of the contents. Our Alpha Force and
Alpha Patriot gloves are great examples of
doing the little things the right way for our
customers.
